Hiking in the Cévennes

The Cevennes is close to the Mediterranean Sea. Because of this we have a Mediterranean climate. That means: warm summers and short, somewhat cold winters. Thanks to this contrast, the Cevennes has a rich flora and fauna. In the spring you can enjoy an overwhelming flow of flowers and the nose is spoiled by delicious herbal scents. It is therefore wonderful to walk in the Cevennes. Various grand randonnees walk through the landscape.
